Pretty new to canning and of the first two batches of items I processed, I had one jar in each that didn't seal. This is my first summer using a Presto Elect canner, and was surprised they didn't all seal. Decided to try Superb lids after reading many positive reviews. Glad I did, no more jars that have not sealed!
I found Superb lids back in 2020 when the quality of canning lids went dramatically down. I was having troubles with the name brands not sealing or crumbling up. When I received my 1st Superb lids, I had a few from pre-pandemic, during pandemic and Superb. Compared all and found Superb to be literally "superb" in the quality of metal and sealing power. If they’re the only lids she uses that was good enough reason for me to try them. Now it’s all I use because they actually work. Thank you Superb for making a quality American made product.
I love how sturdy the lids are, they seal super strong and they look so pretty in gold. Also they are easy to remove because they are just slightly larger than the jars which I absolutely love, you will not be disappointed with these lids!

Chicken broth photographed here! One of my favorite things to can and use! Everything I can using your lids gives me great confidence that no food will ever be wasted! I’ve never had that release of pressure before and I have to say, “I LOVE IT”! No more worries! No more false seals! Sealed almost instantly with a low tone “pop”. I feel like it’s a more solid metal than the higher pitched “ping” of thinner lids.
I have been converted. I love using the Superb lids better than any other brand. They are such good quality and have a really low fail rate. Since I have 7 kids and can hundreds of jars of food a year, this is really important to me.

The lid has a nice quality heft to it and makes a nice loud POP sound when sealed! Love buying products made in the USA and I will continue buying these lids. Can't beat the pretty gold color too!

What a nice hardy lid!! The blue seal firm but has some give. Seems to be a very good seal. I recently lost a few dozen pints of pickled beets to cheap lids that not only lost their seal after a 4 months but rusted as well. Im very happy with these lids so far. Thank you!

I love these lids and the boxes they come in.
After many seal failures with four other brands of lids, we gave Superb a try. We had never heard of them until they showed up at Walmart recently. We make jam for a farmers market. Of about 150 Superb lids used, EVERY ONE sealed. We're sold. Just bought 750 lids for future use.
I have been waterbath canning for decades, but recently treated myself to a pressure canner. I decided to try these lids with my new canner and they worked great! Very sturdy, and they all sealed tightly.

I read about Superb in a back issue of Homesteading magazine, and decided to try the canning products. I had been using a well-known national brand, and had increasingly poor results, with 30-40% seal failures and other problems. I’ve now used about 200 lids, plus some other Superb products bought locally, and have had no failures in sealing or storage (the whole point of the exercise of food preservation). I also appreciate that they manufacture in the USA .
I run a small jam business and a shipment from my jar supplierin mid 2025 had a high seal fail rate (18%!). I changed to Superb lids and the rate dropped to less than one percent. These look fantastic on my jars, and my confidence is restored! Plus, I love having that word grace each product! Subliminal messaging can’t possibly hurt. I only wish they offered bulk rings as well as lids!
Only superb from now on.
