These jars blow ball brand away… and the rings and lids are carefully packaged with their own form fitted buffer over the jar tops so that the gaskets are still brand new when you get your new jars. Unlike ball that mount them directly on the jars and by the time they have temperature shifted a dozen times (in a warehouse or in transit) what the consumer actually gets is unreliable lids with the gaskets all wallered out so they have to risk a fail or buy a pack of lids in addition to their new jars. I absolutely love all of the Superb products! I used only Superb lids this last canning season and I had a 100% seal rate! Unbelievable! That never happens! I love the jars, too; I only wish they offered alternate sizes such as 1/2 pints and 1/4 pints as well. If that were the case, my entire canning supply source would be Superb. And I love that these are made in the USA!
